Which Mint environment to choose?

There are 2 machines:
Pentuim G2030 2x3.00GHz
DDR3 2x2GB 1333MHz
GT630 GDDR 1GB
HHD 500GB
1440x900 TN
and
Athlon Silver 3050U 2 cores
DDR4 4GB 2333MHz SSD NvME
128GB
1920x1080 TN (PS if my hardware is really bad, then please provide alternative Linux distributions)

Mate, and "Sneakers" are now not the same as before, i.e. you can safely set it,
they consume at the level of "Rats", or even less (it all depends on the settings.
But I'm used to Mate, so I only use it (but I tried everything)
