Help in resolving the issue. It is required to install Net Framework 4.6.2 on Linux Mint 18.3, when launched through Wine, it says "The program cannot work properly because the service - Windows Update is not available." Click continue and the installation closes. This no framework is required for specialized software to work... Are there any workarounds for this problem?

This question is of interest to me. There is an answer to it , but for a slightly older version 4.6.1.
It remains only to repeat it, replacing step 6 in it.
The trick is that the GUI installation will not work there in principle. And you need to sit and select, if the recipe does not work, intermediate versions for installation. There the chain 4.0 -> 4.5.2 -> 4.6.1 is offered.
