Take Lenovo or Acer, you will not lose. Mac and Asus this year is not a cake. One has already been thrown out =(

The flight is normal, if you load it very hard, it heats up a little. It is better to take with 8GB of RAM.

Air in 2Q18 is not worth considering at all! The screen eats away the eyes with its TN matrix...
For your tasks, video is not important, macbook clearly draws animation on any of these video cards. Problems can only be when working with an external display if you want in the future, and then if it is 4k (I'm talking about the HD3000).
