Which macbook should I choose?

Good day!
Here is such a dilemma and a bunch of questions in my head ...
After watching wwdc 2012, I realized that I can’t wait anymore and I can’t want anymore either, I need to buy this damn macbook and be done with it.
Moreover, I have been working for half a year on mac mini Mid-2011 (upgrade to 8 GB for “just in case”).
Who am I and what do I do? I am a web-developer and, accordingly, a geek. That is, the fact that Aperture or Final Cut Pro will be much better on a retina display is, by and large, almost indifferent to me. Ponta for me at all macbook? Yes, and for him too. Well, in general, I find Mac OS quite convenient, but I'm not here for that.
I'm interested in opinions on how much it's worth or not worth taking a retina in favor of a regular firmware.
Here is what I can afford to get locally without any headaches (through friends from the states, etc.), for about the same price:
macbook pro with retina Mid-2012
mac book pro Mid-2012
the thought “why not air?” (I will save about 30% of conditional money on air). Of course I play games, in particular sc2, d3. But not so that it would be very enthusiastic and often.
macbook air Mid-2012
I expect one or two thousand comments that will completely confuse me :)
Thank you.

If you are not too lazy to carry it or you don’t need to carry it, or if this is your only computer, or you need a good video, or you are going to build Linux on it, then take a retina. In other cases, air.
I bought a 13" air md232, 4GB of RAM is enough, 256 flash too. The laptop is excellent, makes everyone happy. It almost doesn't heat up, you don't feel the weight at all. big computer)
air i7/8/512 considered too expensive, but it should be faster)

If you are a web developer and do the main “heavy” work for the processor on servers, don’t even think about it, take Air.
It is still problematic to make up on Rettina, all your usual layout will be soap for you. On the other hand, you will immediately make up for the future)

I myself wanted calamus, but bought a retina. Now I'm a little sorry. If I can sell :)

retina looks like a glossy magazine - the quality of the picture (and especially the fonts) is excellent. But he's bulky. If you need a laptop for frequent carrying, then air is better - it has an amazing design, after probing it, I left the store not indifferent to this device.

you can wait a bit for the release of air with retina. But if you can’t bear it ... I would still take air. I am the owner of 13 "pro 2011. After 16" hp laptop, pro is just a fluff, + scII is on it

But the screen in MBP Retina is customizable, isn't it? There is a setting like this: www.anandtech.com/show/5996/how-the-retina-display-macbook-pro-handles-scaling . She won't help? Also, there is MBP without Retina: www.apple.com/macbook-pro/specs/13-and-15-inch/

I would take Air 13" (now I have 11" - too small), if there is a stationary mini.
Air has quite small pixels, I don’t know why it would need a retina.
You can also play d3 (I play on my late 2010, on a low graphics of course).
Pros of air compared to pro:
higher screen resolution
thin
lightweight
ssd as standard
Cons:
less memory
upgrade unusable (except ssd)
size up to 13"
graphics only intel hd 4000
fewer ports
LAN port only through an adapter

I'm going to buy Retina because high-res text looks better and the code will be much more enjoyable to work with.
Another huge plus is discrete graphics, much better for toys.
Now the advantages may not look so obvious, but in the future they will release toys that will slow down on Air, and the software will be finished under the retina.
In general, if you count on the future, then Retina looks better.
If you play for a few months - then Air.
