Which mac to get for multiple development scenarios?

I'm learning programming. There was a question of buying a new PC, the choice fell on poppies. I have not yet decided on the direction of development, but it will definitely be either development on swift or frontend. Right now I'm choosing between two macbooks, macbook pro 15 2015 (2.2Ghz, 16GB RAM, 256 SSD) and macbook pro 13 2017 (2.3Ghz, 16GB RAM, 256 SSD). The question is, will there be a big difference in processors and will it be noticeable for my tasks, after all, there are 4 cores and 8 threads in 15, when there are 2 cores and 4 threads in 13?
