Is it possible to connect two DDR3 from different manufacturers?

Hello!
Please tell me, now in my Macbook Pro 13 MD101 there are two DDR3 sticks of 4 GB each, the total is 8 GB, I want to buy one plan for 8gb and stick it together with one for 4 GB, will this option work? What underwater?
I want to take CORSAIR CMSO8GX3M1A1600C11 DDR3 for 8 gb.

Well, two sticks with different memory can be shove, but from different manufacturers it is undesirable
