Which Linux to choose?

I have an ASUS laptop with an SSD. There should be programs:
BlueFish
Visual studio Code
Telegram
Skype
Thunderbird / Evolution
Chromium
I will only write code in blue fish and in all code, use telegrams, whatsapp and skype, watch mail and browser.
Advise a distribution kit which will be suitable for such tasks. To have all such software, you don’t have to mess around like with Gentoo, it was as stable as possible in such work and light.
To be more or less popular
I'm thinking Calculate linux. But is it possible to put these programs there? and how to do it?
Is this system in Russian
Do not offer Ubuntu! It is bad because it is somehow buggy, unfinished and heavy. The default desktop environment (Unity with Gnome sticky) is unfinished.
I don't need super beautiful, the main thing is to be more or less stable, and all these programs were running.
I had Manjaro KDE, but when I updated it, SDDM crashed :(
Ubuntu is very buggy.

Manjaro is a good distro, but due to rolilng updates it can break, but always fresh software. So you need to be able to repair and backup. If you need stability and convenience - mint, a fairly friendly distro, is based on ubuntu, so there are a lot of guides. LTS version should not have bugs. In fact, any distribution kit is suitable for such tasks.
About gnome 3 - I completely agree! Disgusting environment, the developers themselves do not know what they want - a tablet environment or a desktop one.

A pile of stamps and a rake. Ubuntu, you see, is "bugged", and sawn Genta (Kalkuleit) and Archik (Manjara) are considered as "non-bugged".
Problem Ubuntu is experimental DE by default.
Xubuntu / Mint are deprived of this problem, and I have not noticed Zubuntu either in "buggy" or in "heaviness" since I sat on it (and it was still version 12.04). For example, for the last couple of years, Xubuntu has been installed by my wife on a laptop from ASUS.
Naturally, we are talking about the LTS distribution - for the same reasons of non-participation in experiments.

No. Half of the listed software works on web technologies (VS Code, Skype, Chromium).
Linux completely loses to Windows 10 in the performance of web browsers, including due to the lack of normal hardware acceleration.

Void (Linux) is now in trend (many praise).
Advantages

  • - minimalistic
  • - understandable
  • - free from systemd
  • - starts very fast

Do not install desktop environment, but only window manager, for example dwm+dmenu or bspwm+sxhkd.

Everything is subjective...
The taste and color...
Only your personal experience will give you a feel for your Linux distribution!
Just try different ones, and there, how the heart and soul will lie down to what ...

Through trial and error, I picked openSUSE for myself, stable, does not fall, the package manager does not strive to kill the system by removing critical dependencies. With the release of version 15.2, this will generally settle down. Actually, since that moment it has been installed on the laptop. Nothing falls or breaks. KDE environment, you can arrange it as you like. If you don't like sneakers, the path is open to experimentation. I have a pantheon and badges in parallel. Everything is stable. Try.

Try Pop!_OS. I tried several distros on the desktop, stayed on this one. Satisfied. I've been working on it for about a year.

There was a time when hackers shouted Windows mastday and buggy. I had nt4 and was not buggy. Now hackers are yelling Linux mastday and glukalovo. I suspect it's in the hands. Although I would not put fresh Linux on a beech.

Linux Mint Cinnamon
All programs are available, up to the desktop application watsap. Not buggy. Handsome.
Windows... God forbid to install it.
