What would you recommend to choose Linux for a beginner? To be easy to learn?

If the computer is not weak, then definitely kubuntu, because only in kde at least the software is more finished, and there are fewer bugs. If the computer is not powerful, or if you want more freedom, then xubuntu is ideal.
