Which laptop to choose for development?

I am faced with a choice: Dell Inspiron 17 7779 or Lenovo Yoga 710-14IKB There is a
premium coming up and I want to spend it wisely. Ceiling - $1000.
How important is the video card, screen size?
It may be worth choosing completely different models, but the ability to use the laptop as a tablet (360 degrees) is very interesting.

You assemble a system unit that you will put at home. The main thing to pay attention to is the number of CPU cores / threads (preferably 4/8) and the amount of RAM (I have 12 GB = 8 + 4). Good monitor + keyboard, mouse and headset to taste.
Take a laptop for development ... You, my friend, are a masochist, probably.
If the task is to show something somewhere to someone on the road or work for a couple of days away from home, when you take any laptop that you like outwardly and connect remotely to your home system unit from it. I personally consider it inappropriate to buy a laptop as the main working tool.
Also, perhaps, I will touch on the topic with SSD.
There are three types of memory in a PC: CPU + RAM + ROM. The fastest is the CPU registers, the second fastest is the RAM, the third is the hard drive.
The first two are connected through the northern bridge, the third one works with the southern one. I personally know two ways to really speed up the system: stick an SSD or increase the amount of RAM.
If everything is clear with the first one - your hard drive is faster and due to this everything starts to work faster, then in the second case, if you have 64 GB of RAM in your system unit, for example, you can make a couple of tmpfs partitions and copy it there when loading from the HDD their main work files. In this case, the system boots longer, but during operation, the performance gain is felt quite weak, even in comparison with the SSD.
