Which laptop is suitable for a student for a simple game dev?
I am studying to be a programmer. I live far from my place of study and do not have enough time for practice (I get up at 5, come home at 18).
I want to develop games (for a start, Unity) and decided to buy a laptop. I found this model "Notebook LENOVO IdeaPad 330S-14IKB, 14", IPS, Intel Core i5 8250U 1.6GHz, 8GB, 1000GB, 128GB SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 620, Free DOS, 81F4013KRU" (link: https://www.citilink .ru/catalog/mobile/notebooks/1... but my friends said that it was complete bullshit due to the lack of a video card.Because I'm just studying, I'm not talking about cool projects.I don't plan to install games on a laptop either.
Tell me who is right: me or my friends, and what kind of hardware should be in my laptop for comfortable work (Visual Studio, Unity, maybe Blender)

To begin with - that's enough, just drop the RAM up to 16 gigs.
A discreet will be needed only if you are working on really serious projects with a bunch of models, scary shaders and other graphics. And since until you do (and no one does this in one helmet) - then the norms.
We will not raise questions about the amount of space on the ssd, screen size, etc., this does not directly affect the performance of the software.
Friends estimate for toys, but you need it for work. If the laptop allows, immediately buy additional RAM, especially if you decide to try Android Studio :)
To work comfortably with 3D engines, you need to have a discrete card anyway.
I'll insert my five ..
of course it's a matter of habit and the presence of a separate monitor, BUT 14 inches is pain and suffering.
In Unity and 3D editors .. with their interfaces .. at least 15+ screen ..
if the weight is not critical, then 17 would not hurt much .. but 15 is probably more or less the middle)
and so they say 8 gigs of RAM is tolerable. 16 gigs if possible)
a discrete video card, not necessarily, but it would also be better with it, especially which 1050 thread does not affect the price so much.
as a result, as a cheap option - something like yours.
a little more pleasant and with a backlog - something from the MSI category for 60k+
Buy a laptop with at least 2 GB video card. For example geforce 970m
