I want to use a 128Gb SD card to expand the space on the ultrabook. Will there be problems or pitfalls?

In general, it's time to buy a new laptop and I decided to move towards ultrabooks, today I played with Lenovo Yoga 13 in the store and realized that this was it (I used to look at Asus Zenbook, but the idea of \u200b\u200bcombining a tablet and a laptop in one makes me very happy.). But there is a problem - 128Gb SSD (for some reason, no more) and there is a suspicion that it will not be very easy to replace it. Therefore, the thought arose, but should I buy another SD card for the same 128 gigs and use it to store movies / music / photos. Those. I will occasionally upload the data there and watch / listen from there.
The only question is, will there be any problems with this?
Thank you in advance!

Some built-in card readers, even on modern laptops, for some reason use not only usb 2.0, but sometimes even usb 1.1. Now I don’t remember the models, but the presence of an external usb 3.0 does not guarantee a favorable situation for the card reader. Consider this.
In addition, SD cards are bad with heating at a high and constant write / heating rate, as well as with the number of rewrite cycles.
We would recommend an external drive with usb 3.0, although it is clear that this is already a solid addition to the laptop in terms of size and weight, but if you take a 1.8-2.5" ssd, it's not that big.

If money is not a pity, then SanDisk Extreme and there will be no problems

If my memory serves me, then you can simply add one mSATA, there should be an additional connector inside the Yoga13.

Replace SSD with a bigger one? Not cheap, but more reliable.

Cards are consumables.
Therefore, their reliability is, by definition, lower than that of other drives. (I personally "dead" ~ 10 SDxxx cards)
Therefore, my IMHO - you can use it, BUT on the condition that you do not store data there that it would be very a pity to lose (for example, unique memorable photos).
And regarding performance - the speed is greatly reduced on small files.
