Which laptop for programming (mostly I plan to front-end) to choose?

I studied this issue for a long time, I ask you to help me decide on the choice of the 3 models below (because I have already broken my whole head):
1. GE60 2PE (Apache Pro) -285RU
Pluses, it seems to me:

  • The ability to make a RAID array (> 900mb / s, this is not an SSD with its own 500mb / s :D ) from 2 mSATA SSDs (I will do this if the choice falls on it)
  • HDD 7200rpm

Cons, in my opinion:
  • TN + film matrix ... It seems like IPS is better in color reproduction, corners, everything, everything, everything, but the crystalline effect is more pronounced (if I'm not mistaken, these are less clear, more blurry fonts, right?). That is, on the one hand cool, you need IPS, for working on the web, especially in the frontend, it will come in handy (I think so, there seems to be quite a lot of work with graphics there), on the other hand, then it turns out you get tired of staring at the code, since the crystalline effect?
Either I misunderstood something with this effect, or I'm just already confused and don't understand anything...

And one more dubious moment: the SteelSeries keyboard ... It seems that someone says that it’s super, and someone that they say it’s normal for games, but uncomfortable for work, help me decide (according to the pictures, in my opinion, and for normal work :D) .
2.Asus G551JM
  • Everything seems to be normal, only for SSD you need an mSATA mini (half-size) R-500mb \ sec W-200mb \ sec disk and they are almost not sold here, that is, if you order, then most likely from Amazon / eBay.

3.Asus N751JK
  • Here, too, everything is fine, only HDD 5400, not 7200 (SSD, by the way, can be put here both in SATA3 2.5, and in mSATA), as in the previous ones, and the screen is 17.3 "... I have no idea if I need this 17.3" or not needed, because I still carry a laptop with me once or twice a week, and a couple of my friends say that fullHD will look fine on 15.6 ", at first it will be unusual, and then ok (now I'm on 15" HD: 1366x768), yes and it seems the same for poppies (15 "+ not bad resolution) ... In general, I don't know about this monitor, I can't decide ...

Please, help! And I have one more request (although this is already arrogance) to you: I ask you to write why you advise me this or that option (however, if for some reason you do not want to write an argument, I will be glad to review without it :) ), well, for example, maybe you can reassure that TN + film and SteelSeries should not be afraid, or maybe you can say that mSATA mini (half-size) is sold on every corner, or maybe convince me that I need a 17 "monitor or something else :D

PS Please don't look at the RAM, it's not critical, if anything - I'll add it

PPS In the plans for the future there is an idea to take a 23" monitor and connect a second slave table at home.

Concerning RAID you in my opinion are exhausted. For a regular frontend, you won’t need it, and one high-quality SSD will be more than enough for fast work and an additional HDD as a file cleaner.
Regarding 17 "I want to dissuade that they weigh more, it's more difficult to find a bag / backpack for them, as well as a small gain in the size of the matrix.
For myself, I also recently bought an N550JK laptop instead of a PC and as a result it costs mostly like a stationary, that is connected external keyboard, mouse, monitor 22". With regards to an external monitor 24 "with 1920 * 1200 they write correctly and it seems to me that this size is also optimal.
Choose a more powerful processor, preferably an i7 at least 4700, at least 8 GB of expandable RAM, and the video card will not play any special role (unless, of course, you play games).
With FHD at 15", even Win8.1 cannot fully adjust the zoom scale. For example, in Photoshop and Phpstorm there were small elements in the interface.

IMHO, when choosing a laptop for coding, the only important criteria are the keyboard and screen.

Take macbook pro 15 retina, you won't lose

Under the front-end, Unixes are more suitable. And since Photoshop is made only for Windows and Mac, the only choice left is the MacBook.
But if you choose with Windows, then I would look primarily at the convenient keyboard and viewing angles of the monitor matrix. And then on my lenovo nt the matrix is \u200b\u200bjust terrible. It’s light on top, dark on the bottom, which is why you have to constantly tilt the lid back and forth when working with layouts.
And ssd is better. Firstly, the laptop becomes silent, and secondly, the ssd is faster, whatever one may say. For backups, it is better to use home nas or clouds.

I initially chose between ROG and MBP 15 retina nvidia, and already half a year as a happy owner of a macbook =)
literally 3 weeks ago, these beeches were updated www.dell.com/us/business/p/precision-m3800-worksta... .
Well, in general, the choice of beech most often comes down to beauty, and not to its filling. But the filling should correspond to the level of your work.
in fact, ssd is good, but I don't think you need 900 MB. I personally think that such a speed is needed only for video processing in 4K format. (at the same time, I have 900 MB reading on my macbook pro, without raids)
fhd on 15 laptops is normal. I have a friend who upgraded his pavilion dv6 to fhd resolution.
17 inches, as a rule, are more powerful, there are fewer problems with overheating, etc., but isn’t it easier in this case to assemble a home station for 15-20 thousand?
monitor recommend 24 inches 1920 * 1200 and more.

It is necessary to take something that can easily pull a modern IDE + WAMP stack + virtual machine at the same time. Any laptop for $500-700 will do just fine.
Monitor and keyboard / mouse - only external. For example, I can't code well in PhpStorm on the 14" screen of my laptop.

I would recommend starting not only from processor / memory / display factors, but also from noise and heating indicators.

Pffff what to think, everything is simple here! Take the top, most expensive macbook pro.

Touch the screen only. After looking at 15" poppies with retina, I took an ACER laptop with a 15" matte IPS screen at 4K, I can say that so far I have not seen a better screen, I forgot about tired / sore eyes by the end of the day. And in general, after 4K, any monitor at 1980 and lower resolution seems to be some kind of misunderstanding. On the other hand, colleagues with not 100% vision do not see much difference, and also a minus that not all programs are still designed for 4K resolution, in some places the icons are very small.

I have a laptop from MSI - GE 60 2OE - after purchase I immediately bought mSATA SSD Kingston SSDNow mS200 120GB into it
- On the SSD, programs and Windows, on the screw file washer. The laptop just flies. Programs are loaded very, very quickly. I thought about a raid - but I'm unlikely to see the difference when coding or working in photoshop / illustrator - so it's not worth it.

of 2 mSATA SSDs

mSATA has long been made according to the 6gb / s standard?
