Which is better, to assemble a team of programmers or to turn to a ready-made team?
I'm going to scale up a ready-made working project of an industry marketplace, for this I need to create a new platform, I'm torn between choices, either to assemble a team of 2-3 programmers myself, or to turn to a ready-made team, what should I do better?
In my opinion, the advantages of meeting a new team are that they can stay with the project for a long time and devote maximum time to it, the cons are probably clear to everyone.
The advantages of a ready-made team are that they are already a well-coordinated team and their productivity will certainly be higher, the disadvantages are that they "freemasons" did it and left.

For the development of an already profitable project - only its own team. Main reasons:
- team involvement and deep understanding of the product. The team involved will not dig deep. They took the TOR, did everything according to it, moved on to the next project;
- efficiency. Any changes can be made much faster. If you have a product manager (and a completed project should have one), then testing hypotheses with the hands of a contractor will turn into hell.
A ready-made team / studio is good for quick prototyping, they have no equal here.
