Which is better for a medium sized project: ASP.NET MVC SPA template or Angular.js?

Good afternoon!
We are going to write a project with SPA, but we can’t decide which is better: the ASP.NET MVC SPA template or Angular.js. For some reason, everywhere if SPA, then immediately Angular, but after all, the studio has a wonderful template prepared, what would you prefer if you started writing a new project right now?
We are looking more towards Angular, because it so happened that we have already bought a beautiful template.
Thanks for answers!

I cannot understand you. ASP.Net MVC and Angular are backend and frontend, respectively, they do not contradict each other, even more they are perfectly combined. ASP.NET MVC SPA template uses knockout. However, nothing prevents you from taking an empty ASP.NET MVC template or WebAPI, writing a backend and adding an Angular front there (this is not a big deal, even Nuget has a bunch of SPA templates based on Angular). I have now started a project on Asp.Net Core and Angular2. Your question should come down to Knockout or Angular, your team, what do you know better?
