Which hypervisor to choose?

Hello.
Tell me what to choose from hypervisors and how to configure.
There is an intel s5000vsasasr server. 2xXeon E5410. 20 gigs of RAM. 2xSSD intel s3700 100gb, 2xSAS 78gb each. 2x SATA 500gb, Synology DS214se
Hyper-v can't map HASP to VMs. But he sees FAKERAID.
VMware ESXi does not see FAKERAID, but I would like to mirror pairs of screws. SSD I think under the hypervisor and the main server with 1s bases.
XenServer also apparently will not see the soft raid.
Maybe spit on the pseudo-raid and backup everything and everything on synology?
Win2008Server, Linux +postgresql, shara will spin on the server. Please tell me
how to proceed.

Greetings! If I correctly understood the task, namely: you need to raise 1c and file trash using the server without actually raid controller. This is not how you can do it, you must definitely buy a controller, after checking its compatibility with vmware. Next, put the hypervisor on a USB flash drive, it tolerates this possibility well. Install operating systems on an array with sas disks, put a database on an array with ssd, a file on sat disks. And be sure to make backups on synology.

I'll add a little Alexander
1. You still need a RAID controller - take a card from Adaptec, they are quite cheap and
reliable head.
3. And synology for backups is best connected via iSCSI or NFS. And put backups there using the free version of Veeam B&R.
