Which free CMS to choose for the Internet portal?
Good day!
There was a task to make a small Internet portal, like a business card site, but cooler. To have news, announcements of events / events, photos / videos, documents. And standard information blocks, such as "About the company", "Contacts", etc.
So I want to do this on a free CMS platform, like Joomla, but maybe there are others?
The highlight is that you need to have a media archive (photos on the site, and videos on YouTube), but all these photos and videos are tied to news, or events, or descriptions like "About the company". Those. a person starts the news, adds photos to this news (uploads them to the site, and with minimal effort), adds a video (first uploads to YouTube, and then inserts and opens as a link in a frame), arranges everything in a structured way (mandatory for each photo and video has a name) and publishes the news. As soon as the news was published, 2 entries of the type appeared in the media archive:
"дата" - "фото" к новости "название новости";
"дата" - "видео" к новости "название новости".

News CMS for example DLE or Drupal, although Wordpress is enough for many
On wordpress, this is generally done in an elementary way. You can even simplify it further and do it with the help of additional fields (the Advanced custom fields plugin).
I, as a knowledgeable WP (and I can advise him), will make such a project with ease, because I know what to do and how. If you have no experience in any of the CMS, then, whatever you take on, there will be a lot of crutches.
