Which forum engines have api for external applications (the target is a mobile application for the forum)?

You need to install a forum and make a mobile application for it (reading, posting).
The question is in interaction, it would be nice to find an engine with api.
What do you advise?
Or maybe there are already forum + mobile application bundles?
