In general, what is the problem: at home there is a Keenetic Giga II router. In addition to a home computer, a media player is connected to it. An external Seagare Expansion Drive USB screw is also connected to the router. What is the actual problem: periodically, when you try to go from the player to the screw through the router, the screw falls off. Those. for a period, he goes into hibernation and cannot wake up correctly.
In the settings of the external screw itself, you can go into the energy saving settings and prohibit it from falling into sleep mode, but then the power consumption increases, and the load on the screw.
Therefore, I think, is it possible to find a normal external box that can cling to the network via a network cable, correctly go into hibernation and wake up from it, and, ideally, be able to download torrent (the latter is optional). In fact, you need some kind of budget NAS.
I would be grateful if anyone can suggest a proven solution. And yes, the price of the issue is up to 2 thousand rubles. Or, advise how to set up a router and a screw so that they work together.

IMHO does not happen. Theoretically, you can probably find some box from the Chinese with such functionality, but I would not count on its normal operation, especially as a torrent downloader.
