Which engine to choose for a social network in a narrow niche?

Hello, such a question, we want to open a social network for a niche - creative people who could share experiences, give lessons. some creative community. we need a forum, profiles, groups, perhaps not just somewhere in a group to communicate on VK or Facebook, but a whole purposeful community of creative people. maybe there are such cms or scripts, I looked at the discus but I don’t know if it’s suitable or not, I looked at php fox, but I don’t even like it either.

maybe xenforo, but then again, this is more of a forum I guess

At one time I implemented something similar, but for a different niche. Literally 300 people. But there was such a task. I was completely satisfied with the Jomsocial component for Joomla!
