Which editor should you choose?

Currently writing in sublime text 3, but it doesn't underline the most common errors like missing ';'
What is the best editor to choose if I write in php and javascript?
Well, or 2 different editors.

install a linter + a couple of pretifier extensions.

Sublime is good when you need to write something quickly, hung with plugins, it starts to slow down.
