Which editing program to choose?

There is a MacBook, there is a brand new GoPro Hero 3, there is a video from it. I started choosing a program for editing, I had Pinnacl's experience, but not on a Mac. As a result, I settled on Adobe Premiere Pro CC and FinalCut Pro. I didn't find anything else, maybe I didn't search well enough. So which of the two should you buy?
If there is a more budget version with fewer functions (I'm a beginner, so I won't use it in full force for the first time), then tell me. I would like it to be as cheap as possible.
