Which direction is more promising? UX/UI designer or 3D modeler? The prospect of working with NFT projects?

I am 20 years old, I am getting a diploma in web design this year, I am currently working as a UX / UI designer, I have about a year of work experience. In addition, I have knowledge in the field of 3D (from the programs I know Maya, Substance, Zbrush. The entire production pipeline went through, so to speak). I plan to improve my skills and portfolio in order to get into a serious studio as a modeler or motion designer. Both directions are creative and both are interesting to me. Which of them will be more promising in material terms and in terms of opportunities: there is a goal in the future to find work abroad.

Is it worth continuing to develop in interface design, or choose a more interesting and complex direction like 3D graphics and focus on it if interests diverge? Or even break your brain and choose both directions, as you noticed vacancies on Facebook (the current Meta), where a UI designer with 3D skills is required?

Choose what interests you. From which straight hands tremble and time flies by unnoticed.
I foolishly went into constructors at one time (I didn’t choose, it just happened), I lost 10 years there with a feeling of “how tired everything is”, now I work where work is high – that’s cool.
Sounds trite, of course. But it is necessary to strive precisely for this, and not “where they carve more”.

Everything is obvious:
1. Choose the direction that is more interesting for you.
2. If both are equally interesting, then where they pay more (google vacancies and relevant statistics).
3. If they pay +/- the same - the one that is more in demand (but there is a double-edged sword, since more vacancies == higher competition).

How I love this versatility - in UI / UX, and in 3D, and in Motion.
What kind of diploma, what organization? What's the experience?

Tomorrow they will finish the neurons and artificial intelligence, and all this development will fall where it belongs. In museums and evening groups of "anonymous programmers".

Don't look at salaries. A talented person with ambitions will find salaries above the market everywhere, and in general, income levels in both areas are quite close.
If you want more creativity - then go to 3D, if you want not only to draw, but also to work out scenarios for using the product - then in UX / UI, there will be less creativity, a little more tedious work.
In general, one does not exclude the other and knowledge is not superfluous. Yes, and changing the type of activity is not always bad, for example, a lot of skills came in handy for me at completely unexpected moments. By the way, he also worked as a 3D modeler and was engaged in interface design, among other things. The world is changing, interests are changing with growing up too, and one should not be afraid to make a choice in the moment and move forward, breaking everything if the choice once made has ceased to be interesting or has ceased to generate income.
