Which development laptop to choose with acceptable battery life?

I'm tired of putting up with an old Acer that lasts an hour on battery.
Therefore, you need to pick up a new one so that the operating time with a running browser / pycharm / other active applications can withstand 4 hours, preferably more.
Main criteria:
* RAM 8GB minimum
* Screen 13-14 "(more inconvenient to carry)
From the main candidates:
* macbook air or pro 13 (from the minuses, I have already allocated a price for myself)
* something from Lenovo ThinkPad (but I read a lot of negative reviews that they are already "not a cake")
I would like either confirmation of my choice, or other options that fit the criteria.

I highly recommend Macbook. Yes, it is more expensive than other options, but you can be sure that it is worth every cent spent.
The only question is whether to take Air or Pro. You indicated 8GB, which means that you need a powerful machine. Therefore, it is better to take Pro. Ideally, you should take it with a Retina display, but this already depends on the amount you have at your disposal.

Macbook if you take the same configs, it will come out the same or even cheaper.

I will give as an alternative to the Sony VAIO Fit 14, which has a swivel screen and a touchscreen

Plus for a macbook, you can wear it to work without charging, the working day draws out, almost like an android smartphone =)
