Which data center to choose in digitalocean?

I want to purchase a virtual server in DigitalOcean. Which region to choose for the data center and what are they usually guided by? So far, the only clear criterion for me is distance. In this case, what to choose Frankfurt or Amsterdam?

tried DO - good hosting. It is better to choose Amsterdam, by geographical location :)
