Which CMS to choose for a private portfolio site?

What CMS would you recommend for the next task? We need a closed site for the university (with the addition of users by the admin) in which there will be a list of students with their portfolio. What CMS will be the easiest to forge for this? The amount of information is large enough, it is desirable that there be a convenient grouping.
Are there any ready-made solutions, or will you have to finish everything manually?

I would take CMS Joomla! as the simplest.

And I think it's easier to do it with a framework .. Such tasks are just solved by the framework and not by the CMS.
