Which button to choose for harsh conditions?

I am looking for a worthy alternative to a conventional mechanical button with which there are a lot of problems due to the harsh conditions of the control cabinet location (snow, rain, frost and sun).
The button is ordinary, without fixation, with a silicone case (which is not enough for a long time due to long human nails). Water and detergents can get on it, but it should only react to the touch of a human finger. I will be glad to various realistic and not very ideas on this subject)
