Good day to all.

I'm primarily interested in what type of signal is used? Simple or complex? And if a complex one is used, then I want to know its type and the bandwidth of the occupied frequencies. Also interested in the possibility of recording the received signal for subsequent spectral processing. If someone has already worked with this circuit, I will be glad for any advice and tips, first of all, advice related to docking this board and a PC.

PS Are there similar boards with a longer range?

There are specs on the manufacturer's website . Including communication protocol.
Connections to PC via USB-RS485 ( industrial , self-made ).
The signal frequency is 40 kHz. The principle of operation is described for other similar sensors :

“Recording” most likely will not work without resoldering the circuit - since the “insides” of ultrasonic sensors do not go directly to the controller.
