Which browsers support navigator.cookieEnabled?

Actually, there is a way to check if cookies are enabled in the browser via navigator.cookieEnabled .
Interested in the support of this parameter by modern mobile browsers. Has anyone used it in practice? How reliable information does it convey, are there any disadvantages?
PS
And an additional question. If cookies are disabled in the browser, are sessions not disabled along with them? I read that in the old Opera there was such a problem. How are things now?
