Thinking about increasing the memory in the laptop. I currently have adata 4gb ddr3 1600hz. I want to put the second bar on 4gb. Which one to choose? what frequencies it supports, maximum volume, and other parameters.

If your mother supports only 16 GB, and there are only 2 slots on it, then each bar cannot be higher than 8 GB. And do not accidentally buy server memory (ECC for example), because you most likely have a regular home computer.
