Can there be problems with the laptop if I add a resolution of 1920x1080px?

I now have a maximum of 1366px wide. I would like to make 1920 wide on such a small screen. Will it hurt him?

Does the laptop support 1920x1080 out of the box?
In theory, you can get a black screen.
Before the experiment, it is advisable to connect an external monitor to roll back changes

What for? If there are not so many pixels on the screen (and they most likely do not), you will get a soapy picture at best

If it supports 1920x1080, then there will be no problems.
And if it does not support, there will be more load on the video card.
And the temperature of the robots will be higher.
And so everything will be fine.

Setting a custom resolution was relevant only on vector CRT monitors, where it was possible to control the beam, while LCDs were completely raster with a constant resolution
Custom resolution is now used only for matrix splitters and / or LED panel controllers, for everything else there have long been approved and supported by all standards
