Which ARM laptop to choose for Linux with SSD?
Recommend a budget ARM laptop for Linux (Mint), i.e. so that there are no problems with firewood. Must have an SSD (at least 32GB), Full HD, 4GB+ RAM, or the ability to deliver to be 4GB.
64 bit ARM has just appeared on the market? Then, I suppose there cannot be more than 4GB) In general, the performance requirements are minimal, not critical. The SSD saves, the only question is whether the processor is able to cope with the speeds of the SSD, i.e. The robot with the file system can be slowed down due to its failure to process the descriptors.
And what about floating point operations? Can because of this significantly slow down the JavaScript engine (for example)?

From what at least somehow fits your description, I can only offer this . It is on ARM, FullHD matrix, memory and ssd in Acer Chromebooks could be upgraded. Well, at least in Acer c720 you can. But in Russia it is not for sale. And answer the question, why exactly ARM? If this is a desire to save money, then forget it, you will not gain anything compared to budget x86 models.
Nvidia Tegra4 as SoC, but if you find a laptop on it ... That's the question. And the cost will not be affordable.
Take a regular one on x86 without Windows, add an SSD and memory to taste, install Mint.
Then, I guess there can't be more than 4GB)
I don’t understand why you need arm? only crap yourself will make money out of the blue. now it's nifiga not budgetary and not quite as beautifully compatible with everything as we would like.
There are many x86 budget laptops on the market that come with Linux out of the box.
