Consider 2 scenarios:
Adequate user using office software browser and possibly something else. Windows license. In this case, the built-in defender
Blonde from the accounting department in the redneck office with the old 1s is enough. As you understand, she has admin rights, clicks on all sorts of banners, drags herself around dating sites and puts various hacked toys from different garbage dumps. There is only Kaspersky.
A less terminal case, parents of 70 years old are also Kaspersky and preferably also on a smartphone plus Yandex caller ID.

A standard Windows one will be better than a free avast if you install updates in a timely manner and do not turn it off.
Well, no one has canceled his own head - you should not download pirated software, visit suspicious sites, and run unverified programs from the Internet.

Vasily is right.
At the moment, the best antivirus in the world for Windows 10 is, oddly enough, the correctly configured Windows Defender antivirus built into WIndows 10 (Windows Defender).
For example, I use the Webroot SecurityAnywhere complex for insurance, mainly because of its advanced antivirus capabilities that disable antiviruses on the victim's PC.
