Which 3d model editor should I use to create objects in unity3d?

Which 3d model editor should I use to create objects in unity3d?
I'm leaning towards a blender, but there are still a bunch that I'm not familiar with, tell me :)
and I have enough video card to create R9 280X models and 8 GB of RAM?))
