Game engine for beginners?

What game engine would you recommend to a beginner? (Ogre3d, Unity, Source), I think Unreal and CryEngine are too hard to learn.

Unity 70 - 90% of the game is done in the editor, a huge community, a lot of tutorials, a fairly easy to learn programming language - c#. Try to do something simple and you won't be able to stop
