Where to start a blog for your own developments?

Good afternoon friends.
Recently there was a need for a place where you can write about developments, interesting techniques and your own observations. So the main task is the ability to write code blocks with syntax highlighting.
Just as it is necessary to decide where and how to place the developments themselves so that they can be embedded in the text of the article.

Для хранения кода и вставки его в блог/на любую страницу отлично подходит Github Gist. Создаёте гист и встраиваете его куда угодно.
Для личного техноблога я вижу три варианта:

I chose blogspot for the blog because our seo people are very fond of breaking everything, picking up, scanning, ddosing and looking for neighbors )) But in terms of programming features for placing code, everything is bad there.
Then you could put your blog on WordPress and plug-ins for code highlighting there as much as you like.

Посмотрел я на многие штуки в сети, говорят неплохо использовать codepen для выкладки код и результата.
Остается очень хороший вопрос по поводу где размещать блог. Blogspot? GitHub Pages не особо подходит, так как мне хочется управлять нормально контентом. Собрать блог самостоятельно можно, но реально лень=)

Wordpress с любой понравившейся темой с Themeforest'а.
Почему считаю этот вариант хорошим:

1. Удобно делать посты. Wordpress в этом плане очень хорошо. Не надо ни о чем думать. Просто пишешь и публикуешь. На выходе все будет хорошо и красиво
   
2. Много удобных плагинов, с помощью которых можно организовать любой доп функционал
   
3. Больше возможности для дальнейшей монетизации, при необходимости
