Where to read practical articles on opening your online store?

Joy in the family - the wife decided to open her own small online store. It floods me with questions of what and how, and the very experience in e-commerce is a little more than none (I'm more into algorithms and development). Please advise good articles for well, absolutely beginners on the subject. Website building, promotion and context are not of interest, the following points are of interest:

  • Taxes and legal part
  • Pitfalls of purchasing from Chinese manufacturers
  • Competitor analysis
  • Experience of successful Russian traders (for inspiration)

It is desirable that it be written in a human way. Thank you!

1) Taxes - only simplification - 7% of turnover or 15% minus expenses, uniform for distance trading is not applicable. As I understand it, you will trade with Chinese imported under the gray scheme, then 7%, if your forwarder provides documents, then of course 15% is better.
You gave little information, but I suspect that you will have enough SP for your eyes, there is no need to open ooo.
2) From my own experience, I’ll say that the Chinese don’t send frank goblin, but still lay 5% in the price of marriage. To change marriage, the Chinese change, but not willingly and it does not always make sense. I strongly recommend having at least 3 suppliers and running each purchase through all three in order to squeeze out the minimum price. Respect the people you work with and don't make penny orders, buy at least a couple of tanks.
About trust, oddly enough, but in the same situation, I am inclined to believe the narrow-eyed, and not the brother of the Slav, the Chinese keep their word.
3) Place orders on competitors' websites once a week, the order can be canceled, but you will know the number of orders from a competitor and the state of his warehouse.
Order a call back, use online consultants, write to support and you will be able to determine the number of staff
Run key queries through search engines, analyze the page code in order to determine the keywords
here, in general, you can write a lot
4) It makes no sense to analyze Russian online stores, I I like to pick and creatively rethink European ones.
ps. You are at least 5 years late with the topic, now it takes about six months to promote the store and from 400 sput for content, articles, correct filling of goods, unique photos, a template, custom plugins and modules, hosting payment
I hope the info will be useful

@cmo

such information is usually given comprehensively in paid courses, for example, imsider.ru. Partially and free of charge, you can receive information in their own or similar mailing lists

There are very cool articles of the Mosigra network on Habré. They seem to have posts on topics that interest you.
