Where to look for startup logs if win8.1 does not boot?

After the automatic update, at boot, the computer writes preparation for automatic recovery, then diagnostics, and then offers options to either continue downloading. It is clear that if you continue, then everything repeats. Of the options I tried:
- Return to the restore point - does not work (3 different points)
- Safe mode - everything repeats, it does not reach safe mode
- Boot logging - an empty Recovery.log file appears in the root of drive C
I wanted to manually restore the registry files according to one of the instructions, but the c:\Windows\System32\config\RegBack\ folder is empty. I went into it through the command line - notepad - open.
The ssd disk is readable, has not yet been checked for errors.
Of the untested options, only "Recovery with saving files" remained, but, for some reason, I have doubts that it will help.
The question, in fact, is that she doesn’t like it, why it doesn’t load, and what does the inclusion of automatic recovery at boot depend on?
There is an acronis image in case of emergency, but I would like to restore the system. The system is not polluted, the license, the player, browser and IDE are installed from third-party software.

In general, the problem was solved by returning to the point of a month ago. A couple of programs flew off, but everything else remained. However, the question remained open - where are the launch logs?
