Where to look for a "team" freelancer?

Not a team of freelancers, but one remote worker per team (a C ++ developer for a "permanent").

Because, after talking with applicants on oDesk, I realized that the architecture of the project is a big deal for everyone. I will complete the task for you, and after me even a flood. Among them are people who have worked on oDesk for several thousand hours, and all with excellent reviews.

Nobody does the test task either, because they have a queue of more adequate customers who also care about architecture.

Are there "team" freelancers without their own team? How do you even imagine working with an unfamiliar person remotely, but “in a team”? Freelancers-loners, as a rule, take a clearly defined task and carry it out. Qualitatively and on time. This is what makes a reputation. If you are not able to clearly formulate the task, then what can be said about your attitude to architecture?
So the answer is: nowhere.

In the case of a local huntim service, it is quite possible to find good people who are interested in what will happen to the project in 6 months and other nuances. But, this does not negate the fact that only one out of 20 candidates will suit you - this is not counting people who will be inadequate immediately in the first letter. If an architect is required, no matter the pros or something else, then the dropout will be even higher.
It is known that a good specialist costs a little more than his salary.

Under such requirements, one should not look for a freelancer, but an employee for an employment contract. And let him work remotely so that he does not take up space in the office.

Perhaps in most cases this is what is required. The customer wants to fix bug A and add feature B, and not arrange expensive and lengthy refactoring.
If you want the architecture to be off the charts, hire an experienced developer (I think it's called an architect) to design and document it, write the rules, and require other developers to follow them (and make sure they follow). And, perhaps, it will sometimes look at the status of the project and make some changes (because you are unlikely to be able to design once for centuries).

From my own experience: finding a freelancer is always a lottery. It may be that a person with a lot of positive feedback will let you down at the most inopportune moment, or it may be that a novice freelancer with missing feedback will be extremely responsible and competent. And about the “where”: try to search on freelancer.com , they seem to be in trend now.

Well, for example, I am also with oDesk. Therefore, at least on oDesk, people who care about the product they are developing. Not self-promotion (I have a permanent long-term contract), but a statement of fact

If you look at it from the other side, as a rule, the architecture of the project is up to the customers themselves. The main thing is that it just works. Look for an experienced part-time developer (hack work) to develop the project architecture and its prototype. If you like the result, offer interesting conditions compared to the current place of work. Many developers would like to go remote, you just need to help them move from their homes.

I was once hired for similar conditions at PHP through a local job site. The main thing to understand is that a full-time remote worker is not a freelancer. This is a specialist who is looking for a permanent job, but for some reason does not want or cannot work in the office (for example, he does not see the point in going somewhere for the sake of what can be perfectly done from home, or lives in the provinces and does not have a wide selection of good offices).
Therefore, here hh.ru, brainstorage and other employment sites will help you.
