Career in IT

Where to go next?

Good afternoon dear subscribers. Recently, I began to visit the feeling that I had reached some kind of ceiling. I don’t know what to take on, I’m rushing around in different courses (I’m wasting time for nothing, one might say) I can’t apply the knowledge that these courses give, and as a result I abandon it and feel that I’m starting to burn out to IT (although I always loved this business).
Briefly about myself:
32 years old. Not a programmer)))
He started his career in IT (if I may say so) at the age of 16, in a computer club, minor repairs, switching on and off, and so on.
Then I went up the standard IT engineer ladder.
1. Work in an exhibition company full technical support of Exhibitions (networks, badge printing on specialized equipment, creation of databases for exhibitions), plus support for an office of 25 people. Raised AD there, IP telephony on Panasonic, CRM system Terrasoft, Mailer in general, a standard set.
2. Next was a green bank from a tech specialist. support to the Head of the Internet Banking technical support sector.
3. Recently left for a very large international electronics company as a pre-sale engineer, with a conditional demotion, but I always wanted to work in Vendor.
And actually to the point. It has become boring to work, at the moment the scope is very narrow (visualization and program management of it). I feel that I don’t use even 10% of the knowledge that I have and I get dumber, dumber, dumber. But at the same time, there is an understanding that there is not enough knowledge, for example, to become an Engineer in some kind of data center or at a large facility, as I was in those. support and did not get into the system administration department (stuck in general on the 2nd line). I thought about starting to learn programming, but it's not fast and the competition is big (I pushed around JAVARUSH courses and the like) and abandoned it. In general, a vicious circle.
Skills:
1. Microsoft Windows Server, AD, centralized management of the IT structure based on Microsoft with all components such as WSUS and others.
2. I deployed information security from scratch and worked with Kaspersky Admin KIT (all transitions from version to version, management, and so on). Accordingly, there is an understanding of what IB is and how it works.
3. HP servers, tape libraries deployed a backup system on tape libraries.
4. VEEAM - see above
5. SAP, implementation in branch office format and work in it.
6. Management of an IT department from scratch, establishing personnel management processes, etc.
7. Network equipment by itself.
8. Visualization, professional display, LED, control systems.
9. Also work with the document flow of the IT department, holding competitions, purchases, maintaining warehouses.
10. Languages: English (Upper), German (Intermediate), Korean (Intermediate) Russian native
And yes. There is no IT education. Self-taught (maybe that's why I'm rushing about) Now I'm getting it remotely, I'm bringing the base, so to speak.
Now I think that now to teach in order to grow.
I settled on further Microsoft certification (up to Expert) maybe one of you can advise what thread

1 Decide where you want to grow

Now I think that now to teach in order to grow.
- spherical growth in a vacuum is extremely harmful. What do you want to be: a programmer? admin?
security guard? networker?
I thought to start learning programming, but it's not fast and the competition is big
- java rush are good if you need to learn how to program, at the moment the best that is in runet. But they are just the beginning
I settled on further Microsoft certification (up to Expert) maybe one of you can advise what thread
- do you need it for work or for yourself?)
2 google you need a minimum of knowledge for the area in which you want to develop
3 get the missing from net / courses / books
4 for interviews

And again, "decide for me what to do."
"stopped at further Microsoft certification (up to Expert)" well, go ahead, no need to ask and wait for something to be decided.

You decide what you want - to learn something or get a job somewhere.
If you learn something new - well, teach, no one bothers.
If you get a job, then write a list of what you know how to do, not on a toaster, but in your resume and send it to vacancies.
If it is very bad with vacancies in the city, think about moving. Perhaps to another country, since everything is fine with foreign languages.

Good afternoon.
The classic question is what to do inside the vendor: Adapt. I ask myself.
If you work for Vendor. That is an option to grow inside the vendor and get certified.
There comes 2 options
1. Grow within companies up to the conditional SPM, PM, FR, etc. it all depends on the type of institution. Opportunities to relocate or move to work with another vendor: in Kazakhstan, with varying degrees of lousyness, there are Oracle, Microsoft, HPi, HPe, Fujitsu, IBM, etc.
2. Get certified to the required level and be a key specialist in certain technologies.
3. Option to go back but it can be a step back in certain cases.
