As a matter of fact, a hackneyed question. I have some experience in layout and php. They do not take part-time / work because there is no experience. I would like to join a team with progers or progers.
Everything in order to gain normal, combat experience, etc. etc. At the same time, I want to get to those who are engaged in programming, and not in riveting sites on wp or Bitrix.
Can anyone tell me where to find it? Maybe there are foreign communities?

In vain you shy away from ordinary websites. The same WP is not a panacea for everything and requires periodic improvements and some new features. In itself, excellent command of WP already guarantees the presence of some kind of work, money and a market for products (this is freelance exchange and template exchange like ThemeForest ).
Also, over time, good development and support experience can be accumulated if, in parallel with the main work, go to Open Source. Create your own project / projects and develop. See examples on GitHub . Think about what you can do your own or can improve something. At first, it is unlikely that something will work out, but over time, everything can go very well.

Junior is a junior developer.
A junior by definition has 1-2 years of experience.
You are not a junior, but only learning.
You should gain about a year of experience first (internships, your own projects, freelancing, open source, etc.)
The chances of getting into a WP job are definitely higher for beginners.
