Where to go after SPO: higher education or certification?

yesterday he graduated from a technical school with a degree in computer networks, since the beginning of the 3rd year he has already been employed in a good place, now I’m thinking where to go next, either to get a tower for a fee (remotely / by correspondence), or invest in certifications such as cisco, microsoft, red hat, etc. what do you advise?
PS: if a university, then at the same time please share your experience of distance learning, maybe you can advise from universities.

I advise you to do climbing the career ladder, and not getting pieces of paper.

People's University. American higher. Tuition is free, exams are 100 bucks. Climbing the career ladder will be easier, knowledge is mostly more real than in our universities on IT topics (in the applied sense, so for sure)
