Where to develop a manual tester?

Good afternoon. Experienced colleagues please advise.
Where can you develop in manual testing. And in load testing, which is more in demand. Where do they pay more? What is harder, what is easier?

It is possible and best to develop towards automated testing, this is a promising and more highly paid area.

Either in automated testing, or in devops (very good salaries there today), or in developers.
