Where should a newbie in gamedev go?

Hello!
I've been doing web development for about seven years (officially - 4 years), write sites in PHP and recently tried to write applications on phonegup. The problem is that I never liked this field of activity (I especially hate HTML and CSS). I have always wanted to work with games. Therefore, in his spare time he was engaged in modding for games such as stalker and gta. Now I have game development as a hobby, for which there is very little time (for several years I have not been able to finish my mmorpg on Multi Theft Auto). Due to this lack of time, I have only a superficial knowledge of shaders and, in general, how games work in general.
Since I have almost no experience in this area, I would like to get a job in a company that will take on my further education. Preferably online games (necessarily 3D), as they are the most interesting.
I know Lua well (although I am allergic to basic-style languages), C# and C++ are not bad (I grew up on it). I have experience in implementing scripting languages and mono.
I myself live now in Stavropol, it is not realistic to find such a job here, so I am considering options with moving to St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and possibly Moscow.
PS I'm not a gamer, I play very rarely.
