Where should a gamedev go to start getting money?

Good afternoon !
I ask for advice so as not to run like a squirrel in a wheel.
20 years old, student, from a serious working 6 months. in a team on a gyroscopic runner that got 800 downloads and merged, and took first place with a friend in the hackathon with our game about mining and saving energy .
I worked in the Unity3d environment, wrote in C #, did the design of the entire UI and primitive 3D models.
I really like gamedev, but all this time I worked almost for free . There was an urgent need to find a job, it is impossible to get a job as a game developer in my city, and there is practically no demand throughout the country (Ukraine).
Question: where should I go as a developer in order to have income from this in the near future?
I know how to program well, and the team has experience in Agile development. First of all, it seemed that the easiest way is the Web. In it, I identified three possible outcomes:
1. Front-End (layout + JS).
+ Easy to get a job
- Unrewarding, dirty and boring job
2. Typical php-shnik
+ Slightly better than just typesetting
- Poor prospects for a lifetime of working for $600
- I don't like php
3. Developer in something new and trendy (RoR, Python, ...)
+ Pleasant EPs
- You can spend another 6 months. and never get a job

Judging by the main job search sites, there is a demand in Ukraine:
hh.ua/search/vacancy?text=unity&area=5
rabota.ua/jobsearch/vacancy_list?keywords=unity
www.work.ua/jobs-unity
, although it is required there experience, but your completed projects matter. Try to respond. Another option is to join the outsourcing development team, there are enough of them in Ukraine (ask in Unity chats/communities).
Next, what exactly do you like about game development? By phrase
we can assume that you can be recommended to look at the professions of a UI / UX designer and a 3D modeler. Programmers are definitely the salt of the earth, but perhaps in related fields you will find a job faster. I did this when I had almost no experience, but I urgently needed a job - I got a job in a large IT company in a small and boring position, studied at the same time, and took on more and more complex responsibilities.
Well, as Ilya Andrienko wrote above , try freelancing. Here you can find both small Unity projects and models + all this you can try to sell in the Unity Asset Store.

Frontend is not and not so much layout! JS is amazing. Learn. There will be demand in JS and game development.
If you don't like the frontend so much, here's the PHP way. Not the only true one, mind you.
- Check out www.phptherightway.com/.
- Read Zandstra. Not prevent.
- Learn PSR - https://github.com/php-fig/fig-standards/tree/mast...
- Learn Yii2, Symfony2 and Laravel.
- Practice. Freelancing, right? Looking for hourly pay. 7-8 euros is the normal price per hour for a beginner.
- In six months, go for an interview in a large company immediately as a middle. PHP7 will be released soon, there is a chance that in a year projects under it will come in.
Ah yes, and ask for a salary of more than 600 bucks at once. 650 at least :-D
It's not all as bad as you think. PHP is not as shitty as everyone else (they are all usually incompetent and just chilling) they say. A very, very "pleasant" YaP.
Offtopic: I'm afraid you have a general misconception about the state of the market. You were advised by some bottom. All specialists are needed. If they are good professionals. And if it seems to you that you are being exploited, you can always change your job. Or talking to your boss about a raise - that usually helps.

1. Front-End (layout + JS).
+ Easy to get a job
- Thankless, dirty and boring job

I'm already tired of writing here that frontend! == layout. Unfortunately, lately employers have really had a tendency to combine interfaces, but in general, a front-end developer is not an interface developer.
If you don't like php, why force yourself, you need to consider python/RoR/java.
With the experience of Unity, it is worth thinking about further development in this direction, there are enough orders in this direction. I think it will be effective to go in the direction of unity + native (Android or iOS)

In Ukraine, this is the most familiar game development from the 5th course for $1000 per month, and for Ukraine at the moment this is decent money. If you live in the province - get over.

Can take the first option, and while there is work, and as far as possible try to move to the third option

The second option is not an option for you then =) As for
the frontend, it's not just boring boring work. + html5 and canvas technologies allow you to create games, so you can combine your knowledge with new ones.
Option 3 - nevertheless, the number of projects in ruby / python is much less than php.
Maybe it makes sense for you to go into mobile development, since you already understand Seasharp

Choate interferes while doing the third point to deal with the first anyway, the areas will intersect.
on the first point, you can do more than 600 and how a temporary solution can fit, not all at once.
Python is far from new and the scope is wider, respectively, and the prospects are more + 1 for the syntax.
You can also look towards ios / mac os development from the standpoint of personal implementation on your own projects.
And the phrase will not work as a programmer .. I would like your problems, gentlemen, programmers and your knowledge.
For some reason, all programmers perceive themselves as a "shovel" .. or almost all.

I agree with you about js/php. Where to go? I see two options:
1. You can try to stay in game dev, because "there is practically no demand throughout the country (Ukraine)" - that's lol, there are a lot of vacancies.
2. As I understand it, you have experience in C#, go there. There, among other things, there is a cash Yntyrprize, there is a demand, from leads to juniors.
