Where is the weak point of a gaming computer with such a configuration for GTA V?
A friend was testing a new computer and, frankly, the games are very bad. GTA V doesn't dip below 40FPS only at the lowest settings, although the reviews and benchmarks of the graphics card are impressive.
Computer configuration:
- Processor AMD FX 8320
- RAM Hynix 8Gb*2 (16Gb) 1600MHz
- Video card ASUS Radeon RX 480 STRIX-RX480-4G-GAMING, 8GB, 1200MHz.
- Mat. Asus board
- SSD 500GB
- Windows 10
The problem is that the game goes better with simpler hardware on a laptop, so we think what is the reason.
We tried to overclock the processor to 5000MHz, there is no difference. Drivers are official and latest.

But no, I made a mistake, I had to install the latest drivers from Cataglist, everything works at maximum speeds of 60fps.
GTA is a very processor-dependent game, and you have a weak processor, to put it mildly.
