I first tried to explain how Opencart works so that you can easily find out later which templates are used on a particular page, but it turns out that this will be too voluminous. Therefore, I will present a situation where a standard Opencart installation is used.
Header of HTML code, page header, plus category drop-down menu, plus notifications — <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/common/header.tpl
Footer — <site root>/catalog/view /theme/<template name>/template/common/footer.tpl
Content - depends on the current path. For example, if the current path is product/product (product page), then the template can be found in <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/product/product.tpl. If the root page of the site (you named it index ), then its template is located in <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/common/home.tpl .
Left column - <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/common/column_left.tpl
Right column - <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/common/column_right .tpl
Service part before content — <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name>/template/common/content_top.tpl
Service part after content — <site root>/catalog/view/theme/<template name> /template/common/content_bottom.tpl
<template name> can be found on the store settings page in the admin panel: Admin panel → System menu → Settings item → Edit link next to the current configuration → Store tab → Template item.
All content is usually composed of these chunks.
The right and left columns, as well as service parts before and after the content are usually filled with modules - depending on the settings of the modules. These four templates are best left untouched unless you're completely sure what you're doing.
