Where is the error in the pinout of the USB cable for the Symbol LS2208?

Good day.
I'm trying to make a USB cable for the aforementioned barcode scanner myself. At the same time, I use this scheme:
pinoutsguide.com/PosDevices/symbol_ls2208_pinout.shtml
and just in case this one:
www.joyta.ru/uploads/2014/10/raspinovka-usb-razema...
In this case, the next problem is that the scanner turns on and works, but does not transfer data to the computer. Maybe someone faced this problem?
Even in the circuit, the point of closure between the 1st and 6th contacts is not entirely clear. It turns out they need to be connected to each other with a cable, or did I misunderstand?

It looks like it needs to be connected. Without this, it does not work - there is food, but the exchange does not go
