Where is the error in RAID-5 backup?
Good day. There was a difficulty associated with copying the raid-5 array.
Workstation configuration - Supermicro X9SRA, with an integrated controller and an array of 4 SSD drives with a capacity of 240 Gb.
There was a business need to create a backup. Used programs of the Acronis family from 11 to 15 years.
The output was a clogged external media with a volume of 1 TB, and a file weighing 1.33-2 GB with the same name spread over the entire media.
When choosing a copy area in Acronis, it found an area consisting of:
-Disk 1
----Volume A
----Volume B
-Disk 2
---- Volume C
---- Volume D.

oia : acronis true image 2014 sees the disk system normally, just like Windows, acronis true image 2011 full version sees a disk with subsections. But both programs, when trying to create a copy, smeared it onto external media
