Where is the error in ISP setup under Ubuntu?
After installing ISP on ubuntu server 14.04.01 LTS something strange happens - can't create/connect to databases even as root. Always throws Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

During the ISP installation, were you prompted for a password for the mysql root user?
Check /root/.my.cnf file for [mysql] password=
Run Mysql in safe mode and reset password
