Where is the best place to work at the equator?

We are going to move to the equator for a year and a half. Share your impressions of where you live/work better. Preferably visa-free countries or with easy obtaining / extending a visa.

Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia - everything is ok with visas and prices, I've been living in Thailand for the second year, until they drive me :)

Kuala Lumpur is the second month here. But visas are tough. For some reason, at the exit (we went to Singapore twice), the Malay officers raise their eyebrows and warn that when you enter back, you will have to show a ticket from Malaysia. And both times on the way back there were no questions: a stamp for 30 days and forward!
If I wanted to stay here longer, I would try to find some longer visa option.

Go to Somalia, exotic =)
In general, you don’t have many options, I’m more than sure that when you see the list of visa-free countries, the question will immediately disappear by itself.

Someone here wrote about the winter office in the Canary Islands. If there is a multi-Schengen for 180 days, then you can spend half a year there, leaving Schengen 1 time at the border of six months. A year and a half will not come out ...

Bali has terrible internet. Bydelenka costs a lot of money and is only in the city. ADSL - also only in very crowded places. Available options: congested radio channels or CDMA. Expected speed is 100 kilobit/s during the day and 500 kilobit/s at night.
